When a page in the Language Bank Portal becomes outdated e.g. due to a service or language resource being dismantled, the obsolete pages are not removed. The content is replaced with a tombstone page that indicates what used to be there and contains links to pages that might interest the user instead, if applicable.
Old content is not archived as it is, unless there is special public interest or other reason.
As a rule, obsolete pages are excluded from site-wide search by assigning them the category ”Sisäinen”.
