Classics of English and American Literature in Finnish (CEAL) in Korp

• The scrambled sentences and paragraphs of Classics of English and American Literature in Finnish, license CLARIN ACA NC as well as the corpus’ sentences and paragraphs in their original order, license CLARIN RES NC, have been made available in Korp (see http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2017022202 and http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2017022201).

A new dependency parser for Finnish published

• The finnish-parse statistical dependency parser, based on the Turku Dependency Treebank (TDT), is available in Kielipankki on the application server taito-shell.csc.fi. Instructions in Finnish: https://www.kielipankki.fi/tuki/jasennys/. finnish-parse replaces the Connexor Machinese Syntax parsers, whose license is expiring on 31 May 2017. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions referring to this replacement or to using new Kielipankki tools.
