In September 2025, Eurac Research and Innsbruck University will organise the ninth edition of SummerTrans, summer school on translation, interpreting and terminology. This edition’s focus will be on “Human vs machine translation with a focus on legal translation”. Several courses will address new technologies, from the use of corpora and machine translation to computer-aided interpreting tools and LLMs for specialised translation, including AI-infused translator training.
Dates: 21–27 September 2025, Bolzano/Bozen, Eurac Research
Target audience: students, teachers, researchers, PhDs, as well as professionals working in the fields of translation, interpreting and/terminology in public institutions, private organisations or as freelancers
