FIN-CLARIN has joined CLARIN-ERIC

• The FIN-CLARIN Consortium has joined CLARIN-ERIC, the Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure Consortium.

The Suomi 24 Corpus and the Suomi 24 Extracts Corpus updated

• The updated versions the Suomi 24 Extracts Corpus and of the Suomi 24 Corpus are available at http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2015040102 and at http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2015040801 respectively. Both corpora contain all the texts from the discussion forums of the Suomi24 online social networking website (about 2,4 billion tokens) from 2001 to 2015. The Suomi 24 Extracts Corpus is available for public use, while the Suomi 24 Corpus is available for researchers in Korp as a download package, as well as in the Taito-shell environment.

The Karelian dictionary available for download

• The Karelian dictionary is available for download at http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2015110501

The Fenno-ugrica Kielipankki Version corpus available in Korp

• The Fenno-ugrica Kielipankki Version corpus has been made available in Korp for public use.

The Language Bank of Finland’s new layout
