Resource description

The interview material in Finnish was collected in the Academy of Finland's doctoral 
research project (343137) "Rapping women in Finland. The multimodal construction of 
hiphop feminism, gender, race and whiteness." The interviews were conducted in 2022 
and the data includes a total of seven interviews with eight different people. The 
interviewees are female and non-binary rappers, with two other people involved in rap. 
The interviews cover the interviewees' careers in rap and their views on gender and 
race/whiteness, especially in the Finnish rap scene.
